History
Blacktown Workers Soccer Football Club was founded in 1968 and competes in the Blacktown & Districts Soccer Football Association (BDSFA). The area covered by the competition is the Western Suburbs of Sydney. The Club is an affiliated member of the New South Wales Amateur Soccer Federation and is bound by the constitution of that body.
Objectives of the Club:
1. To provide the opportunity for the community to play soccer and to develop their playing skills in a team environment.
2. To promote fair play and sportsmanship.
3. To nurture good citizenship through healthy recreational and social activity in a supportive team environment.
Our club continues to experience success on and off the field and plays a major part in the community of Blacktown and surrounding suburbs. We are a multicultural and diverse club, catering for all age men, women and children from the age of 5 and onwards. We have over 500 registered players playing on a home and away basis with our home grounds situated on Reservoir Road, Blacktown. We are supported by the Blacktown Workers Group with a membership of approximately 90 thousand. Blacktown Workers Football Soccer club has a solid structured committee. The club is always looking out for the future of its members, players, supporters and sponsors.
